To meet the growing demand for efficiently built, low carbon homes and buildings, off-site timber frame systems manufacturer, Target Timber Systems Ltd, has partnered with timber frame specialists ECO-SPACE to supply and install timber frame systems to customers in Devon, Cornwall and the Channel Islands.

Target Timber Systems design and manufacture their premium quality timber frame systems at their purpose-built factory in South Wales where they can manufacture and deliver a complete system to any site in the UK in just 15 weeks. They also construct house shells and roof structures in under a week, significantly reducing build costs for property developers, contractors, self-builders and architects.

As specialists in sustainable timber frame systems, ECO-SPACE has already earned an excellent reputation in designing and building low carbon timber frame buildings, and the partnership with Target Timber System will allow them to increase activity and market share in the South West and Channel Islands.

Guy Spacie, founder of ECO-SPACE said “This is a great opportunity to grow our business with a likeminded partner while keeping full control and maintaining the quality which we are known for”.

Nick Whittle, joint managing director of Target Timber Systems added “We have completed many projects in Cornwall and the Channel Islands, but as our reputation has grown and demand for our sustainable timber frame building system has increased, we have had to turn away very good opportunities in the South West of England. ECO-SPACE has strong roots in Cornwall, Devon and the Channel Islands and have the same ethos as Target Timber so can manage and maintain the high quality that both companies demand, making a perfect partnership”.

The partnership between these two innovative timber frame specialists will ensure that greater numbers of customers can achieve their low carbon building and build time targets. The offsite building manufacturing industry is set to see significant growth in the coming years as more developers switch from traditional building methods to timber frame solutions that are considered the most sustainable, cost efficient and reliable building methods available today.

Target Timber will continue to grow its activities across the South of England and Wales, while ECO-SPACE will focus on the South West and the Channel Islands.
