At Target Timber Systems we are very conscious of the advantages of partnering, not only with our customers where these advantages are well proven but also with our suppliers. An example of this partnering is with Steico Building Systems where we have achieved “Partnership for Outstanding Service” recognition (see www.steico.com for further information).
 
We have an excellent supply chain with all our suppliers and sub contractors from timber, board & steel suppliers to on site erection teams.
 
The obvious advantage is value engineering at design stage. The sooner we can comment on the proposed building the sooner our customers can take advantage of the benefits of our system. This is the time to make changes (if required) to ensure all involved are made aware of what is required.
 
We can advise on:

• Wall panel size and type taking into account thermal and acoustic performance requirements
• Joist type along with span capabilities & direction of span
• Load bearing wall positions
• General specification requirements

Access requirements for the site

• Crane positions
• Scaffold requirements
• Erect programs
