HEALTH & SAFETY statement
At Target Timber Systems health and safety is our top priority, in our factories and on site every precaution is taken to ensure the well being and safety of our staff and associated trades.
There is unfortunately sometimes a reluctance to take responsibility for health and safety matters on site. At Target Timber Systems we have a very different and proactive approach to Health and Safety.
After discussion and agreement with our clients we will take care of all fall and arrest requirements to ensure we are working within the guide lines of the HSE. All our site operatives will wear hard hats, boots, flouresent vests and harnesses when required.
We will provide cranes and a qualified banks man for unloading and erection of the Timber Frame structure .Any bean bags or crash decks required will be provided and moved by our erection teams.
We will supply and fix sacrificial floor panels to stair wells and lift shafts unless an alternative is agreed with the Main Contractor.
All our erection teams are qualified Timber Frame erectors and all site operatives will attend a tool box safety talk prior to commencing work on site.
To enable us to carry out our duty’s efficiently and safely we will require a level and square slab with access to the slab for unloading. We will need a hard standing for our lorries and crane. An independent scaffold will need to be supplied and erected by the Main Contractor, plus usual site well fare.
Health and Safety is a partnership between all trades and professions, we all have a responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for everybody on site. At Target Timber Systems we believe it’s never to soon to get safety issues resolved.
